Care & Use Instructions

Thank you for choosing Little Popp Crew products! Bamboo is a delicate fabric, but don't worry; we're here to help. We've put together a detailed list of care and use instructions to ensure that your items maintain their quality and longevity:

Washing Instructions:

  • Zip up any zippers, button any snaps, and turn garments inside out.
  • Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Avoid using an agitator if possible.
  • Use only a small amount of mild detergent and avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage the fabric and cause discoloration.
  • Only wash with other items of similar fabric and color. We recommend washing separately and using a color catcher, especially on the first wash, in case of any color bleeding that can result from the fabric dyeing process.
  • Always avoid washing with items that have rough surfaces, such as towels or jeans.
  • Promptly remove items from the machine as soon as the washing is complete to prevent any color bleeding, mold, or mildew growth.
  • We always recommend washing before first use to ensure maximum safety and comfort for your family.

Drying Instructions:

  • For maximum softness, we recommend tumble drying on a low setting. Alternatively, items can be air-dried, which will reduce pilling but result in a slightly stiffer hand feel to the fabric.
  • Never dry on high heat, as this can damage the delicate fibers of the fabric.
  • If needed, use a cool-temperature iron to remove wrinkles.
  • Bamboo fabric is prone to mold and mildew growth, so please take care to ensure that your items are fully dried prior to storing.

Storage:

  • We recommend promptly removing all items from the packaging, inspecting for any defects, and then hanging them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, until you are ready to wash and enjoy them.
  • Like any natural fiber, bamboo fabric is prone to mold and mildew growth if not properly dried and stored. Please ensure that your items are fully dried prior to storage and avoid storing new items long-term in the original packaging, as this can sometimes lead to mold or mildew growth.

Special Care Instructions:

  • For delicate items, such as headbands and bows, we recommend only hand washing and air-drying if desired.
  • For blankets and other larger items, we recommend washing and drying them separately to retain maximum quality.
  • Please be sure to avoid any contact with velcro on all of our products, as it can cause significant damage.

Safety Reminders:

  • Our products are never treated with flame retardants, so please be sure to wear children's pajamas tight-fitting.
  • Always supervise children under 3 while wearing any of our headbands, bows, or any products that may contain small parts.
  • Never allow your child to sleep while wearing our headbands or bows.
  • Always follow safe-sleep practices and guidelines for determining an appropriate age to allow your child to sleep with our blankets.
